With more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, Denise serves the AWA team as Dale Wolf’s assistant. Not only working closely with him on ensuring all his clients are well taken care of, she also provides expanded experience for a host of insurance solutions: life, health, Medicare supplements, long-term care, and disability.
Denise started her career with Prudential Financial in 2000 in Fort Myers. Over the years she has also worked with Nationwide, SunTrust Insurance Services, and Wells Fargo Advisors. Denise has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Central Florida. She holds multiple insurance licenses: Life, Health and Variable Annuities and Property and Casualty. She maintains a series 6, 7 and 66 registration through LPL Financial.
Denise enjoys giving back to her community in a variety of ways. For over 17 years she has worked with the Lee County Board of Elections, acting as a Clerk on election days, supervising a specific precinct. She also served on the Grand Jury of the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida for a year in 2016. She has been involved in many projects with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, The Harry Chapin Food Bank, and START (Solutions To Avoid Red Tide). In addition to serving on 14 retreat teams with the Gulf Coast Walk to Emmaus, a real love of Denise is singing in the choir at McGregor Baptist Church in Fort Myers for the last 21 years.
Although she is originally from New York, Denise has lived in New Hampshire, Nebraska, Texas and Louisiana until she settled down 21 years ago in Cape Coral, FL with her husband Wayne. They have a wonderful daughter Tara, who was a combat medic in the army, and is now married and living close by with her husband and 4 year old son. Their other “child” is a three year old mini-dachshund – Dexter. Together Denise and Wayne enjoy spending time with their grandson, camping, traveling the US, and going on cruises.
